Concept Statement
Jean-Luc Godard is a film director from the 1950s–1960s “auteur” movement in France. This exhibition design focuses on Godard’s strong use of color and light as a branding system. A color palette of different hues found in Godard’s films is used to form 12 color combinations accompanied by grayscale portraits of Godard and still images from his films.
